Glimpses to the Ongoing Intensive Translation Program

LTWA organizes its fourteenth three-month Intensive Translation Program (ITP) from 1st July to 30th September.
This program is open to all Tibetans and others from the Himalayan regions, and foreigners who have a good command over the Tibetan language.
The students are taught Tibetan language and literature, Buddhist philosophy and practice, English language and literature, and translation methodology.
There are 31 students taking this year’s program including 8 monks, 2 nuns, 11 girls and 10 boys from which 2 monks are Bhutanese and one Taiwanese nun.
