Library of Tibetan Works & Archives and Bobby Sager Family Foundation announce Geshe Lhakdor Science Scholarship for the year 2026-27
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a Master’s Degree Scholarship in Science.
Scholarship Amount
•₹150,000 per year for the duration of the approved master’s degree programme.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
•Be bona fide Tibetans residing in India, Nepal, or Bhutan
•Have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science in 2026 from a recognized/registered academic establishment
•Have secured at least 60% in aggregate in their Bachelor’s degree
•Have secured admission to a Master’s degree programme in Science at a recognized institution.
•Not be receiving a scholarship from any other source for the same programme.
Application
Interested candidates should submit their application along with copies of the following documents:
•Copy of the updated Rangden Lagdeb (Tibetan Green Book)
•Copies of Bachelor’s degree certificate and academic transcripts
•Admission letter from the university
•Two academic recommendation letters
•Statement of purpose (maximum 500 words)
