LTWA staff members pray for the departed soul of Kungo Lobsang Dhargay la, affectionately known as Kungo Lodhar la, who left this earthly realm yesterday, 23 November. Kungo la was appointed as a member of the Governing Body in 2003 by the board chaired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Since then besides being a board member Kungo la also served as Chairman of the LTWA Executive Committee until he retired from the board in 2018 due to health reasons. May his gentle soul travel swiftly through the transitional period to be born in a better world. LTWA remains closed for half a day to mourn the loss. Om mani padme hum. 🙏🏼
