With heavy heart this is to inform all our former staffs, students, supporters and well-wishers that Venerable Geshe Thupten Dawa la (affectionately known as Geshe Dawa la), former Buddhist Philosophy teacher of LTWA, left this earthly realm at around 1.15 this morning at Ganden Monastic University, Mundgod in south India. All the present LTWA staff members and students join here to pray for his swift rebirth and continue to serve humanity with his profound wisdom and guide us. Our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members of Venerable Geshe la.
